Vietnam Venture Summit 2022: Shifting Global Capital Flows
On December 19, the Vietnam Innovative Startup Investment Fund Forum 2022 gathered a large number of domestic and international delegates. With the theme "Shifting Global Capital Flows", the Vietnam Innovative Startup Investment Fund Forum 2022 (Vietnam Venture Summit 2022) was organized on the morning of December 19 in Hanoi by the National Innovation Center (NIC) under the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) in coordination with Golden Gate Ventures. The event attracted the participation of Government leaders and many ministries, sectors, localities, international organizations, and investment funds.
Specifically, according to Crunchbase News analysis, total global venture capital investment in Q3/2022 was USD 81 billion, down USD 90 billion (53%) from the previous year and USD 40 billion (33%) from the previous quarter. In Southeast Asia, the innovative startup investment market attracted USD 3.72 billion in Q3/2022, down 36.4% year-on-year and down 22% from Q2/2022.
